April 25. Tuesday Night.

Hi Journey.

Had a decent Tuesday. And it looks like maybe I am going to have a good BizTap meeting on Thursday.

Bloom Team met this morning. It felt like Chicago in rush hour—Gridlock.

“We should definitely hold the open house at a client's home. Why not show off our work?” Shelly asked.

“But if we hold it here at the shop we can give them a better idea of the process we shepherd them through. They'll get to see our fabric samples; we can deliver a presentation of what a good designer does for a client,” Viv said.

“And where are we going to find one of those?” Dana jibed. “I'm with Shelly—let's go on location. Our work speaks for itself.”

“Except they don't understand our language,” Joni said. She speaks up more often these days, Journey, and doesn't always hang back like she used to. Maybe it's Brady, or maybe it's just the cumulative effect of her confidence in sharing great ideas with us these past months.

They volleyed back and forth for another half hour like that; Viv and Joni forming an unlikely alliance opposite Dana and Shelly. I was relieved to see Dana break out of lockstep with Viv. Refreshing.

They at least agreed on format; we'll have a small invitation, in a matching envelope. It will be just a bit bigger than the business cards we hand out.

My vote? We'll, right now I'm just looking forward to Thursday's meeting.
