On Sunday afternoons the guys at KAAZ talk radio switch from their standard typical blunt politico-sports format to a civil discussion on topics of the day. Today their topic was the role of women in the global economy. Just when I was hopeful they might have some original programming they cut to a BBC special that had aired a week before and then just ran it in its entirety. I probably should start listening to their morning show a couple times a week on my drive to work, Journey. They do have the largest local reach for the small business market I'll be trying to reach when I finally start to get serious with my B to B campaign. Maybe I can work an angle that helps them really understand what types of women are part of the global economy. Wonder if they'd be willing to Skype in Casey from down there in Noumea ? Probably could spin a “local-girl-in-the-global-economy” story. More interesting than my little shop, that's for sure. Still, need to figure out a way to tie-in the shop, because I'm the one, after all, that wants to build up the business. |
