Journey Today

March 14. Tuesday Night.

Hi Journey.

Casey emailed me; she's loving her time out there in San Francisco with Mattie.

No surprise there. I pasted her email in below, Journey.

“Hi Crystal,

Having a fabulous time out here. Jet-lag nipping at my heels, but I'm trying to outpace it simply by walking up and down all the hills. Wished you were out here to bike across the GG Bridge with. That'd be fun.

Mattie is tired. We talk, I listen, she naps, I go out rambling around.

Should have brought my wetsuit and I could be swimming out in the bay with some of the folks who look like they put in a few laps everyday. Not a bad way to spend a chunk of morning. Still, I never knew I'd miss wreck-diving so much. Should have thought to pull up a map of old shipwrecks in the Bay area. Bet there's lots of neat stuff stashed on the bottom of the bay, or at least just a few miles out along the coast.

Have met a couple of cool people out here, but haven't dug up any friendly cats. Maybe next time.

Later. Casey.”

I'm glad she's having a good time. Can't wait to see her next weekend.

Called team together today--not for marketing, for celebration. Shelly was clear across town, in-between two client calls; we had to pull her in on her cell phone. Our speaker-phone makes it sound like everybody's talking underwater, but I don't have $500 to splurge on a new top-of-the-line model like Allison Henworth has in her office at Cloud Eleven.

I'll put a down payment on a new Jeep Liberty, first.

Casey's
Cool Facts

Enough daydreaming. Great day!! Needed to share the Joy of the Close with the crew. Scored a brand new client and it was a complete team effort. She was a referral (of course). Pat Scutari, before she retired as a nurse, was friends with a radiologist's wife, Mrs. Ruice. (Or is it Mrs. Dr. Ruice?? I can never remember, Journey.) Anyway, Mrs. Ruice came over to visit Pat last week, Pat showed off their new Family Room with the foosball/air hockey table. Of course, Mrs. Ruice asked where Pat acquired the wonderful ideas for the space, and Mrs. S. told her how wonderful we were.
