May 2. Tuesday Night.

Hi Journey.

I need to be completely willing to be very helpful. Especially when staff is in trouble.

And I think Joni's in trouble.

Tuesday's not her best day, Journey, but she's always here. But she called in sick yesterday and today, and I couldn't pry out of her what was up. It's way out of character for her to be gone, especially when she'll be wrapping up all the end-of-April invoices this week.

My insides were itching to ring up Brady, but I decided to wait. Joni did call each morning, and I heard her voice, which reassured. If something's going on between the two of them it's best for me to stay far away from it, if possible.

But I did ask Shelly to give her a jingle tonight after work. Sometimes it's a bit easier talking to a co-worker than the boss.

Work uneventful. Eddie uneventful. Had a good run and light supper; I'm almost where I want to be weight-wise as we head into summer. Going to bed early tonight.
